    Instrumental Music

Do you know that studying music can make you a better, smarter learner? At West Seattle Elementary, 5th grade students have the opportunity to learn an instrument. Stringed and wind instruments are both options. Students receive high-quality instruction in their instrument up to twice a week.

    Husky Clubs

Husky Clubs offer exciting enrichment opportunities to students after school. Students can choose to sing in a choir, participate in sports, learn African drumming, take lessons in Latin dance and creative movement, join the gardening club, learn cheerleading and much more. Husky Clubs are carefully designed to recognize the diversity of our student body and provide enjoyable, educational and culturally relevant experiences for students. Husky Clubs help support West Seattle Elementary's goal of nurturing well-rounded and active learners. Husky Clubs are offered in three six-week sessions, beginning in fall. Any student K-5 may sign up, and students are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
